While the world rushes to judgment, the Bible calls us to embrace true acceptance

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.” Romans 15:7 (NIV)

Jesus didn’t wait, until we had it all together.

While we are still sinners, He welcomes us fully, through His sacrifice on the cross.

He embraced those who were, or felt, excluded; the weak in faith, the different, and the broken, without quarreling over opinions (see Romans 14:1).

This acceptance isn’t approval of sin, or compromise of truth, but it’s a gracious welcome into community, just as Christ pulled us close, despite our flaws.

It means setting aside trivial differences, so God’s people can glorify Him together with one mind and voice.

Ephesians 4:2 states, “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.”

We need to reach out with the same grace, that Christ extends to us.

Here’s a Very Simple Prayer:

Lord, thank You for accepting me fully in Christ. Help me accept others the same way.

Until next time… 👋
